3.0 Core Plus Evaluations

Your Name (Expression) Number
The Expression is derived from all the letters in your name. It is the sum of both your soul and dreams. This is how the world see's you, it is how you express yourself to the outside world. A common mistake to make in Numerology is to call this your Destiny. This is incorrect, you are not the path you travel. Your Destiny is your Life Path which is calculated from your date of birth. Expression Number is also referred to as Name Number.

The name you were given at birth tells a wonderful story. Your name is what you must be this life. It is a 'Divine Promise' of opportunity. When embracing the qualities of this vibration, you find that your soul adds to its experiences, knowledge, and growth. In the Expression number, you will find evidence of your purpose. As you synthesize this core part, you will also discover a deeper connection to your other parts. Sometimes natural abilities are also found within a person's Expression number.

It describes a person’s potential talents—the natural abilities as well as the related character traits. For most of us, these talents and skills are there at birth, although they are usually further developed as an individual grows and matures. Very often—but not always—these particular abilities are of primary importance in a person’s work and career. Frequently, the talents described by the Expression form the central feature of an individual’s career.

What you must do in this lifetime; what you came here to manifest; the person you aim to be. It reveals your physical and mental constitution and represents a lifelong target at which you are aiming. You work at fulfilling this potential every day of your life.

The Expression is derived by calculating the sum of the number values of all the letters in the name—for example, the letters in the full name appearing on the birth certificate.

Your Key (Core) Number
At the core of our being, most of us would say that how we interact with our friends and loved ones defines us more that any other quality. Despite our inner drives and desires, we tend to see our own worth in what our friends think of us. Numerology tells us that we can learn how we interact with our friends and loved ones. We just have to determine what our Key number is.

Your Key number, also called the Core number, determines how you generally interact with those close to you. It's calculation is very similar to you Destiny number, to which it is closely related. Your Destiny number is calculated using your full use name, first and last names; while your Key number is calculated using just your first name. Similarly, your Destiny number tells us how we interact with people in the world as a whole, those we know either casually or not at all, while your Key number determines how we interact with those very close to us. Very similar purposes, but with a different group of people.

Traditionally in Numerology the Core or Key number is critical to your ability to realize your potential and follow your Life Path. Your Birthday number, (the fadic sum of the day of the month you were born on,) is the lock on the door to your life. Your Core number is the key to unlocking this door. When your Core number matches your fadic Birthday number, then you tend to have trouble unlocking this door and realizing your potential. When this is the case, we are dependant on the help of other people to unlock this door and let us follow our Life Path. Calculation of your Core number involves taking your first name (whatever name you are called by), and finding the number values of each letter in that name. We then sum those numbers and reduce the total with fadic addition to get the value.

Your Soul's Urge (Heart's Desire) Number
It’s what you in your inner secret self desire to be. It shows your underlying motivation or the general intention behind many of your actions.
Also referred to as Heart's Desire.

This vibration comes from the vowels in your name. The vowels are said to be very sacred and in some languages were so respected they were never written! The Heart's Desire provides insight into your soul's deepest urges and values (what you find important, just, fair, etc.) This is not to be taken lightly for it is a very wise part of you. It is the part that has the deepest feelings and sheds light on what you most desire. You will find your most essential motivations here. Your Heart's Desire is a major part of your core since it beautifies and rounds out your character. This part of you also wishes to harmonize with your other core vibrations so that you may express fully all that you are.

The Heart's Desire is a key that will open doors for your other key parts to fully express. It is the essence of your being and what lies behind your every decision and direction you take, what you want to become.

It describes a person’s inner motivation—what a person wants to be, to have and to do—and the potential abilities and obstacles which accompany that motivation. The Soul Urge is influential in determining a person’s point of view and the principles on which he acts. Although the Life Path and Expression are generally easy to see in a person, the inner motivation is often a very private matter—unless revealed through the use of numerology.

Note:
The letter Y can represent either a vowel or a consonant.
e.g. In the name "Sydney"
The first letter Y is a vowel and the last letter Y is a consonant.
This website incorporates functions to determine if the letter Y in the name is used as a vowel or a consonant.

Your Personality Number
Also referred to as Your Inner Dreams or Outer Personality Number.

The sum of the consonants in your name relates a secret dream, your inner desires, or maybe even fantasies.
This number is also associated with your personality or how people see you on first meetings. This number may be so strong in your subconscious that you even project the trait as a personality mask.

Narrow entrance hall to the great room that is your true nature. It’s the first impression that people get of you; it’s how you appear to others; it is not necessarily what you really are. It shows what people expect from you because of the image you present.

The information within the Personality gives us an understanding of how others may attempt to see and direct us. It provides us with insight on which aspects of our personality others may recognize and validate. This information is derived from their first surface impressions. What we are describing is the influence the outer world has on us. Yes, the Personality number has qualities that are very much a part of us. We may be content with what this vibration has to offer for a while. What you secretly desire and dream, possibly something you may not even be aware of or acknowledge.

Your Life Path Number
Your Life Path (sometimes called Destiny) is derived from your birth date. Your Life path is the road you are traveling. It reveals the opportunities and challenges you will face in life. Your Life Path number is the single most important information available in your Personality Chart!

We often think of the Life Path as a 'seed' that is planted on the day of birth. Your accumulated wisdom lies within it. Perhaps you could call this your 'heritage'. It is much like a record that you can rely on for tapping into your innate talents and abilities. As you become aware of this part of our nature, life seems to become more simple. If more parents understood their children's Life Path, it would be much easier to provide direction and help to build confidence.

Some Numerology systems call this part of your nature the Birth Force or Birth Path. No matter what you call it, its meaning remains the same. It is what you will always have on hand. Your Life Path is one of your greatest assets. You can always count on this part of your nature to be there for you.

Also, we often find that the Life Path qualities often appear as opportunities, challenges, and lessons. We are learning how to embrace the qualities of the Life path in a balanced way.

Your Birth Day (Day of Birth)
Your Birth Day number is simply the day of your birth. This number is not reduced. Each of the 31 birth days is described separately.

The day you were born bears great significance in understanding who you are and where your talents lie. The day of birth indicates some special talent you possess. It is a gift to you that will help you along your Life's Path.

It is the least significant of the core numbers, but perhaps the most finite, in that it reveals a specific ability you possess in a marked degree.

Your Bridge Numbers
Knowing your strengths and your talents is a big help when it comes to finding your way in life: choosing the right career, the things that make you happy, and so forth. Being aware of your weaknesses is an equally powerful asset, because they tell you what to avoid and how to not waste your time. If you recognize that you don't have an ear for music, you probably won't bother devoting years to piano lessons.

The concept behind Bridge Numbers is simple: find the difference between two numbers and you find the bridge that crosses the divide between them.

Bridge numbers are arrived at by subtracting the smaller from the larger core number.
When we find the Bridge numbers, we criss-cross between all core numbers (all Master numbers among the core numbers are reduced to single digits).

The more important Bridge Numbers are those that close the gaps between the Life Path and Expression, between the Heart's Desire and Personality, and between the Heart's Desire and Expression.

This is an area where we can find a Bridge number of 0.
The Bridge number 9 is never found becasue the largest difference between two single digits is 8 (9-1).

The bridge numbers show how you can make the core numbers in your chart relate more with each other. This number answers the 'whom' in you. The Bridge Number helps you understand yourself and close the gap with the path you are taking in your life. It helps you change the factors that are stopping you from leading a happy and prosperous life. It gives you an idea about what you really are and what you are trying to become.

Bridge number helps you in distinguishing the Knots. It is like the concrete bridges which we see in the city thoroughfare. As the bridge starts from one road crossing and ends at the other, similarly the Bridge Numbers help you in overcoming obstacles and choosing the right path to move on in life. Thus, the bridge numbers in your chart are the numbers which indicate how you can make a relationship between the individual core numbers in your chart easier and more compatible. Bridge Numbers have the potential to narrow down the gap between the Life path and the Expression Number.

In order to make your talents and abilities (Expression Number) easily available to your main lesson and expected direction of growth (Life Path Number), you will want to bridge the gap between these two aspects of your being. This is calculated for a person by subtracting the life path number from the expression number or vice versa.

Your Maturity Number
Add your Life Path number and your Expression number and reduce the total to a single digit, except in the case of a Master number, to find your Maturity number.

Your Maturity number indicates an underlying wish or desire that gradually surfaces around age thirty to thirty-five. This underlying goal begins to emerge as you gain a better understanding of yourself. With self-knowledge comes a greater awareness of who you are, what your true goals in life are, and what direction you want to set for your life. This, in a nutshell, is the gift of maturity: You no longer waste time and energy on things that are not within your own special identity.

No matter what your age is at present, your life is being channeled in a specific direction, toward a very specific goal. That goal can be seen as a reward or the fulfillment of a promise that is implicit in your current efforts, often without your knowing it consciously. While the characteristics of this number are usually visible during childhood, we tend to lose sight of these aspects until later in life. But our lives are always being affected by this influence, nonetheless.

Your Maturity number begins to have a more profound impact on your life after the age of 35. The influence of the number increases steadily as you grow older.

The vibration of Maturity number is something to look forward to in our latter years. The Maturity Number is created by blending two Core Elements. Some Numerologists call this vibration either the Reality Number or the Ultimate Goal Number. We prefer the Maturity Number because this vibration begins to become evident in the middle range of one’s life.

The Maturity Number acknowledges possible ways an individual may contribute back to the universe their unique expressions, creations, and knowledge cultivated from this life. This number is also an indicator of a meaningful, satisfying, and happy life in later years. Therefore, as we enter the latter years of life–after gaining knowledge, learning how to balance our energies, and becoming more self aware–this vibration engages within us and begins to express outwardly.

Your Maturity number is one area to explore in order to get a better understanding of your abilities. It is calculated with your full name at birth, and your birth date. Your Maturity number shows how your Soul Number, Life Path number and other personal numbers work together. Your Maturity number indicates abilities, yearnings, dreams, or desires that gradually surface between 30 and 40, with its full force becoming stronger throughout your 40’s. Following your Maturity number information can allow you to experience your abilities in unique ways. Discounting it, or letting obstacles get in your way, can bring about personal distress. It encompasses those skills and qualities that relate to your true self. It also represents your ultimate dreams and goals. While the characteristics of this number are usually able to be seen during our youth and early adulthood, we tend to lose sight of these aspects until we are older. But our lives are always influenced by this number.

Your Maturity Number represents your ultimate dreams and goals. As stated previoulsy, the characteristics of this number are usually able to be seen during your youth and early adulthood, we tend to lose sight of these aspects until we are older. But our lives are always influenced by this number. When you ignore your Maturity number, you ignore a part of your true self. Accepting it can bring more self satisfaction into your life. When you are living up to the potential of your Maturity number then you are someone who has embraced and accepted life and willing to tackle its challenges. You are less rigid, more adaptable and better prepared to accept your limitations. Also, you can more easily find ways to inspire yourself, and others. Of course, you may not be perfect, but you are willing to “get your hands dirty” and do the necessary work when the need arises.

Living up to your Maturity number is critical towards achieving optimal self-acceptance and living a balanced life. By believing in yourself and recognizing who and where you are in your life, you can build hope and find courage to move forward. With time, you will be able to allow yourself to manage your stress, find balance and have what you want in life.

You might wonder when a person may begin to notice this vibration. In small children, you can sense this vibration for a few years by noticing the way they act and by observing some of their personal interests. However, the early effects of the Maturity Number usually fade because the Life Path, Heart's Desire, and Expression vibrations become more evident during the first stages of life development. Again, the opportunities the Maturity number presents usually blossom later in life.

If you are in your late thirties or early forties, you may wonder from time to time what is in store for you. Can you keep up the same energy through the rest of your life? What lies ahead and what may present itself to assist in making life easier in the future? If you are in your fifties or sixties and feeling that life has not been all that you desired, or if you are just wondering where else you may find happiness, opportunity, and satisfaction, look toward the Maturity Number for guidance. These are times when the Maturity Number is ready to present itself. Opportunities that can be found through embracing the Maturity Number's qualities are waiting to be revealed. The Maturity Number really is a promise that you charted out for your latter years. It will lead you in directions where you can attain fulfillment, purpose, and reward.
